


Luxury car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled an exciting new Web3 platform called “Fast ForWorld.” This innovative platform allows Lamborghini vehicles to be integrated into blockchain games, marking a significant step for the brand in the digital realm.
On October 2, Lamborghini announced its partnership with Web3 gaming company Animoca Brands. In their statement, Animoca characterized this initiative as Lamborghini’s “first interoperable blockchain-based implementation” of their iconic vehicles within the gaming world.
Together, the two companies are developing a digital collectible platform named Fast ForWorld. This platform will collaborate with Motorverse, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands that manages a digital vehicle ecosystem.
According to the announcement, gamers will have the opportunity to buy, sell, and drive Lamborghini cars across a variety of Motorverse games. This includes popular titles like Torque Drift 2, REVV Racing, the Motorverse Hub, and the unique experiences offered by Fast ForWorld itself.
Animoca Brands revealed that the first version of Fast ForWorld will launch on November 7. This initial rollout will feature a 3D wallet, enabling users to store items and interact with their digital Lamborghini cars.
Lamborghini first hinted at this collaboration with Animoca Brands on August 8, setting the stage for new Web3-based brand engagement initiatives. The partnership aims to deliver unique digital experiences to Lamborghini fans and customers alike. Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, emphasized that Lamborghini is among the pioneering brands embracing Motorverse’s interoperability standards. He stated:
“This partnership allows us to create a truly interconnected Web3 gaming experience for motorsports fans and gamers alike. Lamborghini collectibles will be easily accessible and playable across various virtual environments, including two of our own motorsports games.”
Siu also noted that this collaboration could serve as a model for interoperable digital vehicles, setting a new standard for digital engagement.
The announcement comes at a time when Web3 games are gaining significant traction, attracting millions of users. For instance, the Telegram clicker game Hamster Kombat reported onboarding over 300 million users as of July 30. Another popular game, Catizen, noted reaching 800,000 paying users within its first six months.
As the gaming sector continues to flourish, various brands are capitalizing on the success of Web3 gaming. In addition to Lamborghini, shoe retailer Puma recently announced a partnership with the Web3 soccer game UNKJD. This collaboration will integrate Puma’s brand into the game, including the development of Puma-themed characters with unique skins and skills.
With the launch of Fast ForWorld, Lamborghini is not only embracing the future of gaming but also setting a precedent for how luxury brands can engage with fans in the digital landscape.
